At the beginning of the week DWFAN and FMJunkie came down to do some Turkey hunting. We started on Monday and managed to get a bird two out of the three days we tried. We worked one on Wensday, but he wouldn't come off his strut line because he had a hen with him. I guess 2 out of 3 isnt' to bad.

Good birds guys!
If someone told me I would have to chose between hunting deer or hunting turkey, it would be turkeys handsdown. Glad to see so much sucess this year. A lot has got to do with the weather. While we need a lot of rain, this warm dry weather should be great for this years hatch. |

Thanks for posting the pics  I've got to give VA-Gunnut most of the credit for picking the perfect spot to setup and for calling him in so perfectly. I guess it helps to have SITE STAFF call em' in for yah  |
