Hi everyone,

I’ve been reading all the recent links about establishing LLC’s, trusts, and non-stock corps for the purchase of NFA items and while there is a ton of great info here I would still like to talk to a lawyer about all the pros, cons, and startup and maintenance costs of each choice.

My question is, does anyone know of, or retain the services of a lawyer in the Northern Virginia (Fairfax / Arlington) area who is well established in matters regarding firearms?  I’m assuming any lawyer can answer my questions but I guess I was thinking that someone that does this routinely would be more practiced, through, and require less time to figure things out.

Also, if I wanted to have a list of questions to take to the lawyer about firearms in general, does anyone have some good suggestions?

For example:

1) It seems that there might be other legal entities that may purchase NFA items.  If so, do they provide any other facets to consider?

2) In regard to concealed carry, I seem to recall reading somewhere that signs didn’t have legal precedence in Virginia.  Is this true?

Questions like that.  I know I have some more that I just can’t think of right now, but I’m sure I’ll remember them eventually.

Anyway, any help or suggestions in this matter would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

He helped a friend of mine setup his corporation for NFA.  The other person to try is the former lawer for Interarms.  I just don't have his contact information.

I'm not an attorney, but since none jumped in here I'll lend my 2 pennies.  If you carry concealed somewhere that's posted and get noticed, they can ask you to leave.  If you do not leave, they can have you charged with trespass.  

I do not believe there are any "teeth" to the signs that some places post.  They are akin to me putting a sign up in my front yard that says "no tennis shoes" or "no blue cars" - it doesn't make it a crime.
