Hey guys, that's cool that some of you have been, to or know of, Woodstock. I've been trying to find a public outdoor range to shoot at for a while now, anyone know of any between Manassass and Staunton? I use my field, but I can only get 100 yds max of safe shooting space, not much fun when I wanna shoot my .308. Thanks and have a good one.

There is nothing between Manassas and Staunton but a bunch of houses that are too close together to allow a proper range and that are inhabited by too many people who don't shoot.
Your best bet is to head down to one of the Forest Service ranges. |

I hear ya, I think I'll check out the new range I read about in the paper...Forest Service project, 'Sighting-In' range I believe. |
