seeing that the secret service will be a part of the southside of Shitcago for at least 4 yrs. , do these "federales" have to register their guns with the city

AND I THOUGHT CHICAGO WAS A NO GUN CITY........
SHAME ON THEM.... WE SHOULD SAY SOMETHING TO THE GOVERNOR ABOUT THIS..
THIS SETS A BAD EXAMPLE FOR US LEGAL TO OWN GUNS....

BTW, will the crime  in the southside come down coz' of the  secret service camping out on Obamas neighborhood......

just asking.........

No they don't as they are Fed employees doing official gov biz.  I do know a SS agent based in Chicago, he carries everywhere he goes.

Nope.  Federal law pertaining to the carry of firearms by agents trumps state and local law.

Nothing to get mad about, thats the way it is and always will be...

any leo's that live in shitcago and aren't shitcago cops have to register their duty weapons and other weapons.  i believe there is also a cap on how many you can have.  but the feds probably have a way around it. as far as carrying...yeah they can carry, so can any off duty leo.  too bad thy won't get their heads out of their asses and let law abiding people carry to defend themselves in the murder capital of the country!

Maybe we should resurrect Nullification.

Does Daly still prohibit retired Law Enforcement from carry?

Keep in mind that applies to authorized/duty weapons.  AFAIK all personally owned weapons are subject to the same restrictions as everyone else - to include purchasing waiting periods. :(  A co-worker couldn't even get a certain internet retailer to ship ammunition to our office for him - "we don't ship to Chicago sir."
