A friend of mine is looking for a place to buy a AR lower reciver or two. He went to Citadel last weekend and they were out of them.  He said they wanted $185 for a Bushy Stripped lower. Anyone know a good place that sells them for a good price?

By far, STILL THE CHEEPEST PLACE IN TOWN to buy NEW guns is" BILL's BUY AND SELL," on FREEMONT. Last year he had a case full of lowers, SGW's , and they were cheep.

Bill's Buy and Sell has Oly Arms lowers at retail prices, so I am pretty sure he can cut you a deal. He has stripped lowers for $139 and complete lowers with A2 stocks for $269. I was there yesterday afternoon buying my litte boys a Henry Repeating Arms Junior rifle.

He said they will probably sell the LEO marked stuff on the 15th if nothing happens with the AWB.

thanks,
Ron

I don't know anybody that sells them for less than $100 in town. One of my patients is an FFL dealer and he doesn't charge me for anything but I am just the kind of person that likes to buy what I can pick up and walk away with.

Thanks,
Ron

I have only seen lowers price under $100.00 online. I dont think you'll find them anywhere near that in town.

Buy the lower online and have Glen at The Pawn Place do the transfer for $15.00 plus what the brady guys charge if you dont have a CCW. Thats what I did.

Sir, No Sir....

plum out at the moment. ;)

Most of the dealers on the EE will ship very quickly.  Including Ameetec arms (whose lowers are also supposed to be awesome)...Eagle arms (stag lowers 85 dollars, also very nice)...

Many ship 2 day...And Machine gun kelly's gun vualt usually only charges 25 for the transfer fee.

By the by, assuming you are in las vegas, dissasemble your upper and lower and whatever else you want sprayed, and give me a buzz....we can arrange a time to go down to Justy's house and refinish your stuff.

What kind of finish is that ARin? I have been holding off with a spray-on a finish because I don't have an oven that I can use to cure it.

thanks,
Ron

Dear Doctor.

Go to walmart, PicNSave, BigLots whatever....Get yourself a 10 dollar toaster oven.  a toaster oven will fit an upper, lower, and all the parts needed to do a rifle (aside from the bbl).

And yes the stuff we use is oven cured 2400 GunKote.

ARin,

I don't know why I didn't think of that? I was about to go by a full-size oven but was wondering how I was going to explain to my wife why we have an oven on the side of the househat
thanks,
Ron

any issues with spraying the rails on the upper, i.e. alignment or affixing things to it?

ARin, thanks for the kind words.  I tell you what that rifle was all your skills on the airbrush.

To answer the original question.  I too have had lowers shipped to Kelly's and then done the transfer through him.  Please just don't get so anxious that you call him every 30 minutes to see if the UPS man has come yet.
