Everyone:

The Democrats have used the press to their advantage throughout the life of the PPA.  Now's our chance to get a word in.  The Appleton Post-Crescent has an editorial system called "It's Your Call".  Basically, it is an answering machine that takes calls from readers who express their opinions on matters.  Last night, on the front page of the paper, they had an article on the upcoming veto override sessions.  In the margin, they asked for people to call the "It's Your Call" line and answer the following question: Should the state Legislature override Gov. Doyle's veto of the concealed-carry gun law, will you carry a firearm where and when the law allows?

Please call the Post-Crescent's "It's Your Call" line and let them know how you feel about the situation.  The number is (920) 734-5678.  They will print selected responses, but only if you leave your name, community of residence, and daytime phone number.

Let's get the word out that concealed carry permit holders are responsible, law-abiding citizens who just want to be able to defend themselves against an already-armed criminal element!
