Can anyone confirm that there are free bugout bags being passed out in Denver?

Not that I want one nor am I about to drive through 1/2 day of traffic just to claim one.  F*ck that.  I'm curious if they're like NYC in getting people mentally prepared (or shall I say into an escalating the state of fear) for a nook-clar war?

Haven't heard about it if it's occurring. I'm in Golden, but drive across Denver daily.

Funny, apart from fire starting, this is the contents are virtually useless.  No water filtration, no emergency blanket, no shelter, compass (not that most people know how to use one anyway), no emergency food/snack bars, no means of transporting water.

I used to tell people to have spare comfortable shoes, meds, some water and a filter, small flashlight, first aid kit, etc.

Unless the intent is for people to start fires...
