I moved out to Utah a few years ago but am looking at going out that way for a visit and was wondering if it is still open.

It should be...I was up there shooting about two months ago.  I'm assuming we would hear something about it either here or on the news if it were closed.

By range, you mean open area of nat'l forest with hill/berm?  If so, I believe so, too.  If you mean a formal range, I'd like to know more about it.

It's the informal range with the dirt berm, about 75 yards from what I remember.  Perfect for playing with the carbines and pistols, maybe even a little trap action.

Thanks for the info.

We went up there Saturday and had a good time.  I would have invited some others on here to come along but we were not sure of the schedule until Friday afternoon.

I have to say that I was surprised.  The place was very clean, which is probably due to some responsible gun owners out there.  Good job guys!!

Stopped by there this evening with the hope of verifying the POI on my 1911.  The place was TRASHED!

A few people out picking up trash which was awesome to see, but I didn't get a chance to shoot.

There were a TON of people up there on Sunday (I saw at least two canopies set up) - I didn't stick around to see what they were doing.  Too many shooters for my liking.

I was up there this morning, had the place all to my self.  Compared to some of the other places I have been to shoot, it was immaculate.

Probably the result of the Good Samaritans I saw on Monday night.  I really try to take a trash bag worth of junk out of there every time I go.
