Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Can I do recreational shooting on Mt. Herman Road?

I went on a shooting expedition on Saturday. (3/18/06) but I could not find it. haveI went up Mt. Herman Road from Monument. Went right on Rampart Ranger Road. Found Forest Road 322. I believe FR322 is still in El Paso County. So I didn't explore that road. I was using a Gazetteer Map and it didn't show all the Forest Roads. Any one have the Lat/Long for this NF range?

Try Google Earth.  Mtn Roads usually stand out well.

Zoom in just right and they're labeled.

As you describe the directions, you are still in El Paso county (assuming you meant Rampart Range road).

I'm having trouble finding anything from their directions, though.
