What is it like? Last year we went up Marshall Pass outside of Salida, but this time we are going to put in at Buena Vista and cruise to Taylor Park, maybe St Elmo if there is time. What can i expect? I hate deep snow and getting stuck. Is there groomed trails on Cottonwood pass? Thanks

I'm in Salida.  Never had much use for snowmobiles.  But, AFAIK, the closest groomed (you're not kidding right?) are in Yellowstone...National Park...Wyoming.

The snowpack is above average, here, this year.  You probably won't like it.

Just got back, had a blast. We started on Cottonwood pass, rode to Taylor park, tincup, and St. Elmo. Deep snow is awesome now that I know to stay on the gas!!

Ha, I knew you would come around.



There are groomed trails in Colorado, Im sure the forest service would have lists of groomed trails.
