They also had some mk262mod1 when I was in there Tuesday buying my PTR91F.

What is "PD"? Or rather, what does it stand for? Is there an acronym dictionary?

PD is some loose packed XM193 that folks have reported issues with in terms of quality control. The boxes are marked "training use only," probably as a result. Sportsman's Guide has sold a lot of it. The debate over what "PD" means has not been resolved to my knowledge. Some claim that "PD" means "pull down," and are suggesting that the PD marked stuff is reassembled 193 components. Others say it means something else. I've not had huge issues with it, but some have claimed to have problems. Jensen's is selling the "real deal" stuff, so now worries there. |
