Know of a dealer in N. Colo with Remington 700 VSS 308 cal rifles, NIB, with 5R 24" bbls.  Apparently Remington had a contract with an Alphabet soup agency and had an overrun of 5R barrels.  Remington then took the overrun barrels, mounted them on a SS 700 receiver and put them in a Varmit HS Precision stock.  What a deal.....  Mike Rock barrels are one of the best, hardly ever found in a production gun.  If you are interested and in Colorado, call the dealer, Jensen Arms, Loveland, CO 970-663-5994.
