My mother flew down to Seattle from Pelican Alaska to push me out in a hospital, rather than on my fathers fishing boat. (No docs or hospitals in that little fishing town at the time)
Went back and forth between Alaska, and various towns & citys across western WA through my youth. (19 different schools before I graduated high school, several of them I returned to more than once  )The US Navy had me in Mississippi for a few years after high school, and I lived in central (eastern ) WA for a few years in the 90s. With those exceptions, I've been in LCR since 1984. Alaska may be in my future, or maybe western Montana even.... |

I was born in Seattle. I lived in Seattle until I was six, when my family moved to Bellevue. Stayed in Bellevue until I was 18, when I joined the Army.
I went to Ft. Polk, LA for basic, Ft. Wolters, TX and Ft Rucker, AL for flight school, spent a month in Savannah, GA then went to Vietnam for a year. I tried moving to eastern Washington (Wenatchee, then Yakima) but returned to the coast for college. I lived on Camano Island and went to college in Mt. Vernon and Bellingham. Since then, I've lived in the Everett/Marysville area, since 1981. I haven't done much traveling, except on vactions to Miami, FL, for a cigar event and California to visit family. LaBunny and I have taken vacation and done Seattle as tourists. There is a lot of fun stuff to do there, if you look for it. Otherwise, I try to stay out of Seattle. It's just too busy for me. |
