If you've never been there check out Troublesome Creek. The water can get loud at times and the campground is primitive but there are shooting areas all around the place. Bears are common in the area, bring appropriate calibers.

Olympic National Park?

Sea shores, mountain streams, rain forests, high country. I'm looking forward to it.

Gorgeous pics Spyda!! Proof that if you can get far enough from the cities, WA isn't too bad of a place to hang your hat.

I have always maintained that Washington was a great state with all kinds of geography and climate but has been ruined by the western portion of a single county (MLK) .

Currently reloading some 338 RUM for the weekend. The 270 is next.

Any good places to shoot near Cle Elum?

Oh yes, Ellensburg Rodeo this weekend. Way cool.

Remember to avoid the afternoon highway traffic on Monday.

8 or so different campgrounds, all within 5-10 minutes of somewhere to shoot

Got back Sunday from 5 days at Lake Chelan. Fun in the sun with the boat and the family.

Only two places I'll go camping. Lake Chelan State Park, or Sunbanks Resort on Banks Lakes.
If you haven't been to either, you are missing out. Chelan is two hours away from the seattle/tacoma area so its not that bad of a drive at all.

Yeah, the largest of all Scruns told of the awesome camping spot you guys occupied on Rocky top, and then deployed to shooter-ama.

Im really not wanting to deploy at all, thats why I am leaning towards LCR. Put down my stabilizer legs and I am home. Until Im not. Wake up and cook, roll outside and shoot.

I guess I am comfortable there witht he shooting part. Then  again, it has wheels, I can roll around until I find another home.

Thanks man!
