Ex-senator Brock Adams once seen as state's "prince of politics" dies

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2002032839_adamsobit11m.html

In 1988, Tupper, a family friend, publicly claimed Mr. Adams had drugged and sexually assaulted her 18 months earlier.

The U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia said Tupper's case had no merit. Mr. Adams insisted it was a fabrication designed to extort money from him. Then, in 1992, The Seattle Times published the detailed stories of eight women — including lobbyists, congressional staff members and a woman who served 10 years as Mr. Adams' personal secretary — who accused the senator of sexual misconduct.

The allegations ranged from sexual harassment and groping to rape and included stories of Mr. Adams serving women a mixture of drugs and alcohol.

None of the women in the story was named, but the women signed affidavits attesting to the truth of their accounts and acknowledging they could be required to testify in court should Mr. Adams sue The Times.

Instead of suing, Mr. Adams abandoned his campaign. Patty Murray won the seat.

It was all about sex.  He should have just gone back to work for the American people and got counseling from Jesse Jackson and called it good.

Wasn't Patty also involved with the tennis shoe brigade who would place pairs of childrens tennis shoes on the steps of the state capitol? I forget why they put them there if it was drunk driving or some illness or something but she won over the soccer mom crowd with it.

Here is what the cunt has to say on her web page:

Beginning the fight for education funding
In the early 1980s, when the preschool program at which she taught was threatened by budget cuts, Murray took action. Although a state legislator told her she couldn't make a difference because she was "just a mom in tennis shoes," Murray organized 13,000 parents and saved the preschool program. Murray went on to serve on both the local school board and then in the Washington state Senate.

Murray used the same skills and tenacity that had helped save the preschool program when she ran for the U.S. Senate in 1992. Dramatically outspent, Murray mobilized a grassroots coalition of family, friends and supporters to beat a 10-year veteran of the U.S. House of Representatives.

What a crock of shit! Fucking bloody tampon whore lier.
