They did split. Then Sammy was talking shiat about VH getting back together with David Lee Roth for a greatest hits album. Then VH had some no name kid as their lead singer. And now apparently Sammy and VH had nowhere to go but back to each other. Oh the drama....

Hmmm, before he first joined Van Halen I'd agree. After the split, I don't recall hearing anything from him.

While liking both Sammy and Van Halen pre and post Van Hagar you will all have to look at the facts.  Sammy and Van Halen sold more records which usually means made more money when they were together then when they were apart. While both have had "projects" since neither of them has really done anything in comparison to what Van Hagar did. I would love to see them and hopefully Sammy will get to play a little more guitar this time around...
