Good luck everyone!
I’m not getting out until Thursday, so I’m hoping to see some success posts until then to help pass the longest 72 hours of my year. |

Got plenty on the cameras, and no one but me, my brother and nephew are hunting the property this year. Hoping to bag a buck Thursday or Friday, then a doe or two on Saturday. If the buck doesn't cooperate, there's always flintlock in a few more weeks. |

Won't be out until wednesday here BUT I know the area i'll be in has a TON of big buck!
Guess we'll see what happens... |

I'm sitting out on a buddy's property in MontCo right now.
Glad that I have a ground blind. Not so happy about the holes in the roof. |

Mmmmm...looks good! Is that like a beef steak kinda deal? (versus muscle jerky) Looks like it was ground up and formed into strips.

Yes. It’s grind. I ran it through one of those caulking gun deals and put it in the pellet grill. Good stuff

Did someone say jerky? https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/287525/04267032-1747-4C83-8963-FCA5047A7B26_jpeg-756401.JPG View Quote I'm rather astute in the ways of jerky, too |

Ground makes for good jerky. Not that I don't make jerky out of muscle meat, also.

Somebody got a real nice doe this AM...
Been a good year so far.. shitty ass Weather. 2 trucks got stuck in the mud out at our hunting property this year. |
|
Anybody have luck today? I couldn’t get out until about 2:30. At that point it was pouring rain. I don’t see anything.
|
|
It was pretty dead where I was at, even more than Monday.
Did see a coyote though. |

Posted this in the Pittsburgh thread too, but it maybe more applies here.
Think I heard a guy this morning who must think semi-autos are good to go for deer. He fired one shot, moment of pause then five more in very quick succession. Unless it was Jerry Miculek, I don't think anyone is shooting a manually operated action that fast. |

I got M, T, W off to go out for another doe. Hoping to fill the 2nd tag.
