Getting a serious downpour right now in Sierra Vista.

Gutters can't handle the rain coming off the roof, they're overflowing.

Feels good, man.

Hope we have a decent monsoon season this year.

edit - and just got a flash flood warning for the local area.

edit - quick snapshot

Would love to, but I don't think I have enough pull with the weather machine operator.

Hope you all get some, same with the areas north.

Area around Prescott has gotten some decent rain. Rain gauge at the cabin showed an inch yesterday,
I think I've gotten more than that today.

I can relax a little about fires for a few days, but if this keeps up they'll re-open the forests soon and it'll be
back to worrying.

Was driving around in it.  Way north Phoenix.  It was nice.  Saw two accidents in the 10 mile round trip and it had only been raining for 10 minutes.

Pretty good dumping rain at the Dbacks game tonight...luckily the weather cleared enough for the fireworks show after the game.

Yesterday was our third rain in southwest Tucson.  All were well under half an inch but I ain't complaining.  Hopefully optimistic for a good monsoon season this year.

We got a little bit around Arizona Ave/Queen Creek Rd.  But not like we saw when we went "rain chasing" to the east last night in Gold Canyon.
