I need someone to help me locate where I would find this bridge. I figure someone on here has to have crossed it at some point!!

Do you have more info? It looks like it has rail ties, so is it mine carts that went across? Foot traffic? Where did you find the photo or hear about it?

Did a Google photo lookup return anything?

The only other pics are of some singletrack that is in the same area.

A guy posted it on Facebook, and had ridden his dirt bike to it. I'm not sure if that was legal or not. The rest of the area looked like a bad ass place to ride, but he won't say where it is.

I'm betting mogollon rim somewhere based on the rocks below... Like fossil springs, or tonto or christopher creek.

Would there be dirt bike trails, or is the guy poaching trails?? I've never seen anywhere up there you can ride a dirt bike not on and already existing road.

Shit. I've been there... the location is escaping me.

I'll be back after some coffee.

Tried looking up the few places I could have swore this was... bridges all look different.

I'll post them up at lunch, but I doubt they'll do much good.

They have a cool suspension bridge but I’ve never seen the green one. They definitely don’t have stands of trees like the other pictures.

That is a single single bailey bridge.
It won’t carry much weight. The deck on it is extra added to the a stock bridge.

This may be in Oregon:

Illinois River Road 4103, Milepost 16
Bridge Over Briggs Creek
Trail Number 1167

There are some differences in the bridge floor, yet I don't know about the respective dates of the pictures.

It's definitely not in Oregon. Guy who took the pics lives in the east valley, and had people from AZ with him.

The trail and the creek bed remind me of one of the trails to Clear Creek but I’m not familiar with that bridge at that location.  The trail in the pic is definitely not intended as a motorcycle trail, that’s for sure.

It looks really familiar for some reason, I wonder if it has been on AZ Highways?

Why is that not intended for dirt bikes?

Its probably marked for non-motorized use only at the beginning of the trail.

You can’t see why that foot path is intended for walking and equestrians?

Kind of related. How and where is the safest legal place to get to the wagon wheel tracks? I am not parking on the side of the highway.

The old ruts from the ore carts South of 60 just West of Superior.

Thanks.

The last time I went to the wagon tracks, there was a sign on the 60 and we drove right to them.

Thanks. I haven't been out that way in ages.

We have a checklist of places/sites to see if we venture out that way.

Without seeing a trail marker like freeride mentioned, no. I suppose lack of ruts in the turn make it a foot path?

I think I remember seeing a bridge like that over the Black River on the San Carlos Res but I can't imagine folks would be trail riding like that there.

This would make the most sense. Not saying they would be riding it legally, but I wouldn't put it past 'em to poach a trail if they knew they could get away with it!!
