Love Scott's Generations and Miracle Mile. Huuuge sammies..
BUT, sometimes I don't want thick slicked bread and I want more corned beef flavoring in the meat than I get there..
Not popular but for a Reuban flavor, I'm looking for nomrally sliced Rye and a good helping (not piles but enough) of corned beef or pastrami where that flavor comes thru.
That said, one of my current favorites is the Well Done Grill at Canyon Lake Marina..
No...the don't make thier own corned beef, texas toast or anything like that.
It's just a really good well balanced simple Reuben on two slices of normal sandwich rye.
Restaurant corned beef to me, in general, tends to be rather bland. Every now and then I find a place where it's really great...
