I just mailed out the forms today. What all places accept them?I know of AIM, century arms, and some local guy dealers. I was also told but do not know how true it is that some of the larger suppliers like brownells and midway accept them.

Ive heard Brownells accepts them too. Swingset and Glimmerman have C&R's I believe.

Brownells & Midway do give C&R discounts, so does Grafs I believe.

As far as companies to send them to that sell guns, there is a whole big list here:

www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=14&t=168079

There are more companies out there, of course, but this is a good start.

Remember to keep the original unsigned, and only send out signed COPIES to the vendors. It'll pay for itself the first order from Midway, btw!

The only bad thing is, now you will be broke all the time.

Make LOTS of copies, this will allow you to purchase from private individuals out of state as well as distributers.

www.gunboards.com scroll down to the links and you will find some C&R distributers

Having guns shipped to your door is awesome feeling.

But just like everything else they can change that again.

I have only used mine occasionally.  One particular purchase involved an $89 Turkish Mauser and an $85 moving violation.  So my C&R hasn't quite paid for itself yet.

However, it is one of the nicest Turkish M-38's you will ever come across.  I wish AIM still had some.

I used my C&R a LOT when I first got it but it's pretty much gotten dusty (other than a Soviet Makarov) the last few years.

I use mine all the time, although for guns not that often. Having Midway's discount on everything they sell is priceless.

I picked up 1000 rounds of Wolf for $104 the other day, and got 5,000 rounds of Winchester .22 for $70. And, on reloading equipment it quickly pays for itself. Got 1,000 rounds of Igman .224 bullets for $28.50.

Remember to take it to shows with you. so if you see something you don't have to fill out the form or wait to have it called in.  just give them a copy, Id,  cash and go.

I think I'm going to do this. I still have a decent list of "relics" I want to purchase.

My paper work has been sitting on my desk for about a year. One of these days I'll send it in.
