We're going on Sat. Let me know if you'd like to meet us for breakfast. We're meeting at the Slob Evans on 18, and I71 at 10:00AM. As for directions, do a Google search, it's at the Medina Co Fairgrounds....

I've got an IDPA match on Saturday so I plan on going on Sunday.
FWIW, I'm taking a low mileage pre-ban Bushmaster A2 HBAR 16" upper w/b, bc and ch to sell.

Slash,

Is the Hilliard show any good?  I've lived here for 4 years and have yet to go to one.

I like it, but then I never went to a gun show i didn't like.

About the same size as Medina show, but a different group of sellers.  Usually good deals on ammo and knives, guns are hit/miss.

I already have a 96D OSHP turn in!!! I miss my stock 92F, do you have one of these to trade???

No 92, one of my first handguns that I kept for any length of time was a Glock 22. For some reason I got attached to the 40cal.

Why the heck do they schedule Medina, Sharonville, Hilliard on same W.E. as KC?  Spreads everything too thin.

I don't know the answer to that question, but it was pretty darn thin at the Medina show today.  There was actually room to move around and nary a trace of foul B.O.

almost bought the AR-30 in a .338 Lapua :)  just couldn't afford to shoot it and wouldn't give into the peer pressure mmsig229 was putting on me.

Engineer, how many AR's do you have? 12?

Shopping Frank and Karen again, huh?

Frank and Karen set me up with one of the nicest SAR-1 I've seen anywhere. He threw in a few 30 rounders and the standard 40 and 5 round mags and some ammo for the Beretta96. I saw more pre-ban AR's today than ever before. One of these days....

Hey Eddy, when the heck were you there????I know Dannoman will be back for that rifle!!! He didn't need any encouragement from me, he looked all frustrated and his eyes were all glazed over....

Just ammo. Found a pretty good deal on black hills 5.56 68 Gr. b.t.h.p. for less than $60.- for 200 rounds.

Looks like we all did some shopping at BBC:

Bill - I was there early in the morning - about 9:30 until around 11:30 or so.

Smudge - close, but it's not an SAR-1, it's an Arsenal, Inc. SLR-101S.  It's a Bulgarian AK with a milled receiver and comes with a U.S. stock set (looks like a K-var set to me).  Very nice AK, although the stock FCG has already been swapped out for a Red Star Arms group.

I was handling an Arsenal arms ak at the Medina funshow, "pops place" had it on his table for around $625.- if I remember correctly. I remember thinking - If I was to buy another AK this would be the one, only maybe in 5.56. Well built but a bit pricy...

I believe "Pop's Place" is an Ohio dealer for Arsenal, Inc., so it wouldn't surprise me if they did indeed have a couple of them on his table.

A bit expensive, but then again, with an SAR-1 going for $330 and a K-var stock set for around $90 plus whatever it costs to have a muzzle brake installed, it isn't that bad of a deal and the Bulgy AK's have some nifty extras like a spring loaded firing pin.  (Plus, I've always wanted a milled receiver AK!)

If you are going to GR next weekend, you're more than welcome to put some rounds through her.

Well I certainly hope to make the G.R. shoot. If  I fire your SLR-101S, I know I'm going to want one. My wallet just twitched...

If you get one more Sar you'll need a walk in vault to keep 'em all in. That would free up your old, used safe for a discounted pruchase by yers truly.
