I work for Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse, we sell rubber mulch. It's called Rubberriffic and we sell it for 10.99 a 1cu ft bag. Not sure if you have a Lowe's near you, but that's a good place to start. If there is and they don't have it, they can order it from Mulch Manufacturing in Reynoldsburg Oh. Hope this helps, The Dr.

If there are any high end horse stables near you go ask them what they use in their riding arenas. Some of the more, uhm..lets say RICH, folks are using leather or rubber over packed earth. They may have a good source cheap.
