Been wanting to build a 16" 9mm pistol caliber rifle that uses Glock mags and have some questions/unknowns:

1) The Stern Defense MAG-AD9 looks like a good option. It has an inherent mag release though which makes me think that it couldn't be used in a fixed mag setup. Not sure how to disable the mag release when the upper & lower are mated?

2) Been doing some research and haven't come up with any other Glock adapters. Anyone found other ones? Do they have LRBHO?

3) I assume that going featureless is an option with the Stern, agree?

4) There seems to be compatibility issues in the 9mm PCC world across manufacturers. Apparently PSA's hybrid bolt doesn't function properly with the Stern per info on their site here.

Agreed that I asked about some operational/functionality info that is discussed elsewhere. Suppose that could have been left out so that the Cali-specific 9mm PCC compliance question and discussion could be the focus here. Figured that it would be anyways regardless of the other Stern-specific info...
