In case this hasn't been mentioned before, there is a new site called togetherweserved.com for active, former, and retired Navy & Marines. The site is separated at log-in for the two different branches. It's growing and I've connected with guys long since out of the .mil, and I see it as a great networking tool.

Master Chief and others get  on there and check it out.

ETA: forgot to mention that you make your page by filling in your pertinent info such as commands and units you served in, what ribbons and medals you earned, campaigns you participated in and also you get a buddy list and internal messaging
