See what AK-47 possession makes people do?  It's a tragedy.

Those of you who are thinking about getting an off-list AK, PLEASE THINK ABOUT THIS INCIDENT AND RECONSIDER YOUR DECISION.  Think of the children.

The one comment that stuck out to me was when it says the initial exchange of fire between the two policeman and the man was the only firing that happened, then later it says that one officer was pinned down and needed to be rescued. What happened? Did he duck down behind another car and his buddy waved him over after the firing stopped?

What REALLY happened was the man had one of those pellet guns that looks like a jacked up AK and was walking from his car to his house after a day of fun at a nearby target range. The police rolled up and opened fire after telling him to stand up, wounding only his arm even though they emptied both mags at 5 feet. He walked off to his house to tend to his wounds when police came in and hit him once in the vitals and he goes down. They realize they mad the mistake, so they fake the suicide note and say he had an "AK-47 style rifle"; all of which doesn't make sense since everyone says he was a happy guy and never indicated he could be that way. Conspiracy theory regarding the whole mess pops up on a hometown forum at a major firearm webpage as a joke. Police again respond and open fire, claim it was suicide that ended it, and the story keeps on going as the media ratings go up and up.
