ok, looked at the m16 full auto forum.
bottom line what's it take to get a sbr. whats the process like,here in the prk?

It's not gonna happen.. ever..... even if you did find a CLEO that would sign the DOJ has to approve it..
Which isn't gonna happen...

I thought the CA DOJ only had to approve machineguns and destructive devices.

Special weapons permits include:
1. Possession of Short-barreled Rifle/Shotgun, (PC Section 12095);
2. Possession or Sales of Machine Guns (PC Section 12230, 12250); and
3. Possession of Destructive Device (PC Section 12305).
