I've got a buddy that runs tours down to Wooten's in the Everglades.
Airboat ride, swamp buggy ride, gators, etc... Kinda touristy but that's what visitors like. @AZNetEng was here and took the tour. They liked it. Let me know...I'll meet up for a beer. |

Brother Malbec,
You'll be "checking out" Lots of traffic. Lots of sitting in the car and waiting. Last time I went to Sanibel, I was stuck on the bridge for an hour while on the way back. (Once traffic started moving again) I could see no reason at all why there was such a back up. The guys in South Florida can have all that traffic. I hate it! |

Sanibel is a quiet kind of place. When I stay down there I am just eating good food and relaxing
around the pool or out at the beach. |

We just got home from staying in that area for a week.
Took an airboat ride and walked though the connected gator farm. We went to the Sanibel public beach for a few hours Wife went on a chartered shelling tour. Not my thing but she loved it. Had lunch on Marco Island and shopped a little bit Hung out at the Naples beach by our hotel We had our 19 year old son with us so we didn't hit any local bars in the evening. |

Sanibel is beautiful. We loved visiting there and walked all over the place. Lots of Dolphins off the shore!
