OUR DECK DOWN UNDER which is literally below the Dunlawton St. bridge (beach side). You can often see the porpoises swimming past. No table service. Order at the window and find a picnic table. Don't go at peak time!
OCEAN DECK. It's more of a bar, but does have decent food. And the kids can play on the beach, if they are that age, while you have a drink.
CARIBBEAN JACKS. On the Halifax river (Intercoastal Waterway) on the mainland side. Outside deck seating is on the water. Often has live music in evenings/weekends.
CRABBY JOES which is on the Sunglow fishing pier in Daytona Beach Shores. Make this a lunch visit.
HIDDEN TREASURE. Food won't impress you as much as the location/ambience. Two locations, but you probably want the one down in Ponce Inlet. See the lighthouse while you are down there.
DON VITOS for italian on International Speedway right before Beach St. Doesn't have the view of the ones listed above, but good food.
ZEN BISTRO on Magnolia has excellent Thai food.
