On the Tampa side of the bay, I have no real recommendation. On the gulf, I will tell you - call ahead and make sure places have them. They go quick.

Try Oystercatchers next to the Grand Hyatt Tampa (near the Courtney Campbell Causeway) - best to call first.

When you are done with that, head over to Ybor City and visit the Columbia restaurant. Make sure you have their signature 1905 salad.
