Headed to Orlando in 5 weeks.   What’s the current situation with masks ?   Are they still required indoors and restaurants ?

I don't wear masks whenever I'm in Orange County and it seems to be about a 50/50 ratio.

We’re in Monroe (Keys) 70% and Walton (Panhandle) 30%, our BOCC dipshits put a “mandate” in Monroe that’s still in effect but it’s really only the tourists that wear them, I haven’t worn a bandana for months now in Publix, Home Depot etc and none of the local businesses care anymore. We drive to Walton and the only county that we see it in is Dade, we come up the west coast and avoid Orange so can’t say but I can say it’s dying off which is so damn refreshing. Never had them up here because it never existed up here. A friend went to the house of the mouse and said it was mask nazi territory but that’s to be expected. I’d be curious to hear how it is especially in a month.

A lot of stores (specifically in shopping plazas like the Premium Outlets) have someone at the door counting customers going in and out, and ensuring you're wearing a mask. I didn't wear one outside of actually going into the stores, but they are rather Nazi-ish about it most places.

Hillsborough/Pinellas seems to be the same way

It depends how liberal the area is tbh.  Im in the Gainesville area and wear a mask to blend in and not have to deal with all the karens that abound in my area...

I have developed a rather fun game for people... and it may seem childish and immature but I find it funny: when you ask a question to someone such as an employee or person wearing a face diaper, just keep saying "what?" when they respond to you.

After about 2-3 times of this they pull it down to talk to you. The you say "dude put that mask back on before you get me sick!"

Your gas stations & things like that no problem.  If your in a mall, or tourist trap, they will bark.
I was in DT Orlando a few days back. Anything upscale is going to bark.  Nothing is mandated by .gov, but a business is their rules.

I was LEAVING Costco the other day, and pulled my mask down to take a business call on my cell as I approached the female worker who checks your receipt upon exit.  “Sir, your mask?”.  I told her I’m literally walking out the door now and gave her a “Really?!” look.  

It’s been over a year of this insanity and it seems that a good amount of people are still hell bent on the mask thing, which blows my mind.

I’m in Orlando, the libtard mayor of Orange County, Jerry Demmings, is trying his best to counter Desantis every chance he gets, and refuses to budge on the mask retardation.

There’s rumors that it may be lifted soon (next few weeks), but as of now they’re still required. The enforcement, however, varies from business to business. The more corporate/tourist related places will definitely have strict enforcement. Smaller local stores may be a bit more lax.

My company still requires use when around others in the office, meetings and such, but not when your able to maintain distance.

It’s nothing more than virtue signaling, and completely a waste, but you’re going to need to bring one everywhere, and then remove when you are around free-thinking normal people.  (50/50 in this county).

I can't remember the last time I wore a mask, other then a doctors visit, in the entire time nobody has said a word to me.

As many have mentioned it depends on the politics of the area or business. SRQ has quite a number of virtue rabbits who will probably wear a mask
when showering alone when home alone. Which is probably their every day situation.

5 weeks, shit things change her daily/weekly...no way to tell.  The wife and I went to stay at The Hard Rock @Universal two weeks ago and they were very strict on wearing them.

No doubt.   I just received a welcome email from the resort that stayed masks must be worn at all times, unless swimming or eating.    So odd to me,  because we just got home from an indoor school function where No Masks were worn by anyone !!!

Governor dismantled all mandates in Florida. Though private businesses can require masks. I've not worn a mask in a while.

Just went to Publix this morning no mask signs posted on doors anymore. Though most still wear masks. Never had anyone say anything to me for not wearing one.

Norwegian cruise lines tried to pull that COVID passport crap. No one allowed on their ship without proof of vaccine. Governor says no. So they are threatening to pull out of Florida. I say don't let the door hit then in their @&& on the way out. Screw those SOCIALIST EXTREMISTS NAZIS.

If they are allowed to do that then it'll just open Pandora's box for other LIBERAL SOCIALIST restricting services to people at other businesses who've not taken this shot. Does not matter if you've had COVID already either.

But very very very few people wore masks outside here. Except for the kareeeens and those brainwashed Into thinking if they did not wear a mask they'd die within minutes

It varies, just bring them with you and keep one in your pocket just in case.
