That is one lllooooooooonnnnngggg range! Looking excellent though, getting very excited for this one. Especially since the last time I went shooting was Botter last year I think we will still bring some tables, got to have something to put all the damn guns on.

Slug -O, I have dozens of 30 gauge steel CLEAN never used steel drums that my company makes here in Jax. We had a bad run on them and they are going to trash around 400 of them. They would be a perfect target for your 50. I really have no way to get them any where unless I put one by one in my Pathfinder. Just thought, let me know if you are interested.

This is going to be incredible.
Sooo.......how much tannerite is ok at one time? |
Oh.......... |

55 gallon drum load full.... --- A-OK --- Gun range will now be a bomb range... OH NOE'S.... Who wants to build a BOTTER BOMB... 123 NOT It... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LE1i2QVwXlE&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwNS7sGW77k |
I will come over a pick up a dozen or 2 of them Leon |
Botter Bomb. Sounds catchy! |
Glass of beer.... shot of Knob Creek & a casing full of powder! |
Depending on how large heavy they are, there should be a demand for the defects. Burn barrels, machine shops are always needing drums for chips, I certainly wouldn't scrap them. A listing on craigslist should at least alow your company to recoup it's cost of manufactuing. After seeing the pic, those would be perfect for dust collectors used in wood shops. |
I agree, I'm just a sales guy so I don't know how they will dispose of them. I am sure there are a bunch of uses for them. We are a part of a fortune 50 company so I am sure we have legalities on how we get rid of them. Taking a couple dozen to shoot at is already good with our GM. |
I like you boss already!!!!!!!!!!1 |

One thing I ask you to bring is chairs to sit on when not shooting and tables for you to put your toys on so they are not resting on the ground...
Leon |
Wish I could attend, but it is a little far for me to travel.
One thought though,,,,, Make sure you have decent hearing protection, Don't like the Roof. Lean-to would have been better. |
I know the 50 cals wil be shooting API and APIT I would say no for the rest of the range sence the range will have out their targets also and I dont want their targets damaged.... Leon Dana |
