So true I think pushed a swamp buggy
through the flag ponds more than I rode it .
When the water was deep the only way to keep from stalling
the motor was to remove the fan belt driving the
radiator fan. the water around the engine block
and around our knees would keep
the motor cool.
I got pitched out after hitting a fire rut
and broke two ribs after being run over and
smuched into the mud by the front tire.
I'd do it all over again, it was great fun.
Btw what was the name of the bar that was
1/2 way down the loop? I forgot, I spent a
few too many nights there.
