I am thinking that in the Orlando area we would have plenty of members interested in a Defensive rifle match in central Florida.
I have a good idea for a location, the logistics would take a couple of months but I need to see if the turnout would justify the effort.
new-arguy and friends sound like they have set a great example up north, I have been trying to make it up there for a match but it just hasn't happened yet, work, IPSC, IDPA, 3-gun, wife, ext.
Or do you prefer the idea of a Tactical-3-gun match instead.

I voted. I don't know how tactical my varminter rifle would be in close quarters though.

Blkbrd:  I have been going to FDCC for some time now.  I would certainly also go to anything near Orlando since I live in Deltona.  Of course, I will always continue to trek up and visit Lake City to shoot with the gang.  

As a note to any Orlando shooters.  If you want to compete, but don't have an AR, don't let that stop you.  Buy some ammo, show up and I or others will be glad to let you use a rifle.

I live in the Fort Lauderdale area and I'm new to this board and AR shooting in general. I've been wanting to get involved in some sort of defensive carbine shoot. I'd definately take the drive up to Orlando if I was free at the time. Is there anything like this down here in S. Florida?
