An original G3 barrel is not chrome lined either...But yes, I'm sure someone will swap them out for you.

I saw an ad that JLD is now or soon offering a STD weight G3 barreled version. Not sure why a chrome lined barrel is of any importance except for SHTF scenarios.

So are JLDs barrels stainless steel?

They are regular gun steel, STS is softer though, doesn't have the life as a standard steel barrel.
