That's a CETME, not G3.

Have you shot it yet?

Looks sweet!!
Century Arms has a G3 made with HK parts and a CA reciever and is marked Century Arms G3.  I'm not sure what the differnece is from a cetme other than the cetme is Spanish.  There may be some other differneces though.  G3Shooter, what did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking.  We need a range report too!!!!

My dad paid 400 for it for my christmas gift! It is highly accurate I use Santa Barbara ammo (surplus)! I think of it as what it is, a american produced model 91!

The CETME is a Spanish rifle which was the father of G3, the two rifles look very similar but there's a difference.

I was merely pointing out that your rifle is built on CETME parts on a Cenutry CETME receiver. the triple frame, cocking tube, stock backplate, lower and the rear sight are all CETME.

The furniture however appears to be a US made G3 set.

Certain parts do not interchange between the CETME and G3.

I just ordered one and paid $450, so I gues I didn't get hurt too bad.  Thats why I asked.  I'm looking forward to getting it and placeing some down range myself.  I'm going to try out some of the portugese ammo.
