At the local gunshop today, guy wants to put an FAL on consignment, gun was purchased at this shop and I know the shop owner, who sold it originally, say gun runs fine, IMBEL reciever,  I didn't see any centruy arms logos or markings, no thumbhole stock, metal handgurads, B-Square mount and 3 mags, he is asking $500, is this a decent deal? The one and only FAL that I have owned was a new Springfield Armopry post ban SAR-4800, which I sold to buy race car parts years ago!

$500 sounds great.  Do you know anything else about it?  Condition of bore?  What US compliance  parts are used?  Any pics?

I'd say it was worth $500. just for the parts, if you tried to build it;
-Imbel receiver ~$300.
-Imbel kit ~$250.
-US parts ~$100

Sounds good to me, as long as it is not hess, or century
