I have a Tapco brake for my STG

I'm tired of the blast from the brake when I'm hunting and want to mill the holes out so it would be more of a hider than a brake.
Has anyone done this before?

cut it and perm attach flash hider

If you can mill out the metal yourself, then have at it.  Maybe you'll wind up with something that actually reduces flash, maybe not.  
If you're not the experimenting type, then I'd suggest installing an actual FS unit.

I alredy have the Stoll on it I'm just thinking about doing something different adn this sounded llike a fun winter project
