I'm looking for something like a Phantom. Is there one out there?

The Belgian combo device is my favorite.  They pumped a lot of time and research in the development of it.  The Stoll is cool too but it is a little heavy.

For a real answer....

Dennys Guns/GTS (check the Industry Forum) will take a phantom and bore it out to work with your FAL.  I imagine this can be done by any number of competent machinests.

I like the original long Stoll unit.

You can find it at Tapco.

I called denny's guns and they can't give me any info on the Phantom untill 9/14/04. They are really trying to watch their back.

How accurate a reproduction are the US made Belgian combo's from DSA? Gotta keep the parts count in order!

STG-58 has the best looking FS.

This is the least offensive of the FH on the DSA website

This one is alright, but I don't like the unprotected tines

Sorry, that just plain looks like crap.  Not to mention it's entirely too long.

If you have an STG the only way to go is the long Stoll.... They are evil looking, I love them.

Anything else gotta go with the Belgian short combo brake, they are awesome

Pure Sex.

Nothing says "Anti-Tank-Cannon of Doom" like an STG-58, best FAL ever.

Image is NOT MY GUN, I googled that.

I just put a belgian FH on one of my shorty's, but I'm going to order a DSA STG front end with the long FH for $100 and mount it on something.

The Belgium one does a nice job with the flash, but take a look at the direction of those ports.  I swear, it feels like it kicks worse and a naked muzzle.  My preference is the STG hider.  I have the short Stoll devices on several of my FALs and am quite satisfied.

Go over to the FAL Files and look for user "mrbonecrusher".  He makes some nice short Stolls.

AIM has 10 StG-58 original Austrian made Stoll flash suppressors for $10.  That's a buck apiece!

The long fluted Browning type flash suppressors that DSA sells are pretty good.  In terms of flash suppression, the long fluted one (similar to the M14 suppressor) is about the best.

Personally, I like the look of the Stoll.

The Belgian combo device was designed to launch grenages first, and suppress flash second.  It's still pretty good at flash suppression, but I don't think that it's nearly as good as the long fluted Browning type.

Hello,
I'm the mrbonecrusher who makes the Shorty Stoll. I have a few Shortys on hand for immediate shipping. If the one you want isn't in stock I can get one done up in about three days. The Shorty and Super Shorty are $25, the DSA type cut off is $15 and the regular full length Stoll is $12.50. These are refinished with Brownell's magnesium Parkerizing and Priority Mail is included in the prices shown above. I can be emailed at [email protected] for info or questions about the FH.
