I live about 30 minutes from their shop, their FALs look and feel nice. Thinking about getting one myself.

Just ordered an FAL from them the other day. Heard nothing but great things about their rifles around here and FAL Files.
Todd from Ohio Rapid answered all of my questions with great patience (I'm a FAL newbie). I should have the rifle in about 2 weeks. Will give an update once I receive it. |

Bought one in May. Have had nothing but fun with it. Had some minor break-in issues but nothing serious and Todd made good on the fix. If you're looking for a good, basic rifle with no frills, this one beats even the do-it-yourself kits with the need for tools, and expertise required.
Extremely high value for money spent. If I was to name a distinguishing factor in this whole deal, it is Todd, who spent time answering all my questions. |

I bought mine (carbine) from Todd and it's outstanding! Great people and very good quality and prices. I shoot it more than my AR.
