Ron Smith just called to go over my next project and I have some news to share.

In no specific order:

These Crazy Horse M14SE SDM rifles with the FDE Leupold scopes are recording kills at 800 to 1000 yards with ease.

50 to 60 USGI take-off barrels are available and ready to ship. CALL for details (No Emails)

SEI is currently out of 18.0" Crazy Horse barrels. New ones are 12 weeks out. 22s are in stock.

Starting Sept. 1st. there will be a 60 day window of opportunity for civilian builds. Get in line now.

I am sending a pair of heel stamped Poly 14s to SEI with two NIW TRW bolts.
I will end up with a pair of M14SE CRAZY HORSE® LITE SDMs.
I am getting 22.0" standard profile match grade 4 groove 1:10 ROT M118LR M80HT barrels.
These rifles will utilize ChiCom op rods and trigger groups enhanced by SEI.

I just ask you here rather than on M14 forum. It seems you know a thing or eight about these polys and norcinos. What makes them better than a LRB receiver?

Do you choose them because of the price or other reasons?

All of my information indicates LRB receivers are great and getting better.
ChiCom receiver are still as close as you can get to USGI dimensions.
With a little work USGI parts fit and function 100%. The lower price is nice.
I use SEI for my ChiCom builds because Ron Smith knows the ChiCom
receiver better than the Chinese that made it. The action is silky smooth
after SEI is finished working their magic.

Who is the manufacturer of the suppressors on these M14s? How do they attach?

Fisher Enterprise (Dave Fisher)
The can fit on the SEI DC Vortex
It has swing out clamps and a threaded locking ring.
There are pictures floating around the net...

But wait a minute, they're old relics that aren't very accurate and have no where near the accuracy of a bolt gun.

Tall enough for what. I personally don't think you have to have the stock jammed into your cheek bone. I know cheek weld is important for shooting, but I've gotten some pretty good groups with lousy cheek welds, with my AR's and the M1A.

Those cheekpads should have more inserts to them than what we're seeing in the picture and can go alot higher. There just not setup that way for the pic.

I thought they were adjustable but now I'm not so sure as I don't see anything about it on Smitty's site or Browneye's.

If that's so it sucks because I know I need more than that myself.
A Joe may be better off just buying a Blackchicken pad.
