yo!
check out this image of my SA 3rd gen scope mount.  For those that have one, the front screw and mount are tight against the reciever, the back screw and set screw aren't on the mount right now.  I'm guessing its shifted to the left by about 1/8 of an inch.  When I put the back screw in with the set screw and line it up as close as I can using the iron sights, the front groves of the mount don't even touch the reciever!  I got this off Ebay a long while ago when I first got my rifle but haven't messed with it until I got a scope recently.    am I totally screwed up on how to align this stupid thing?

I searched through the forum and the net and have never seen anything like this.
