Here's a pic of the M1A Supermatch I just made a trade for, this is just how it came from the factory and has only been fired 25rnds, needless to say I can't wait to get it. I don't know much about the M1A's so what should I expect? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, John

I don't know too much about the M1A Super Matches, because I only have a NM.

From what I understand the Super Matches are double-lugged, they have 2 lugs holding the receiver on the stock, and the stock and the reciever is epoxy/fiberglass bedded(read, the receiver and stock are actually/literally glued together), because your rifle is 'glass bedded, you shouldn't seperate the reciever and stock to clean, 99.9% of the regular cleaning can be done without seperating the stock and receiver.

When was your gun made? You can find out by contacting the Springfield Armory factory.
