Bush Administration sanctioned Norinco for importing anything during the next two years. LRB gets that forged chunk of metal that is pictured on their website from Norinco (so did MKS as well). They probably get other parts as well from Norinco. I wonder what their inventory is like. Hopefully it is not JIT.

I've heard the rumor that the forgings are Chinese. IIRC the ban only effects Norinco. Perhaps Poly Tech will pick up the slack. If not, I suppose now we will see if there is any truth to the rumor.
