Just filed my form 1 for my Mossberg Shockwave I'll be making into a SBS, where is the best location to engrave it? My SBR I did on the bottom of the receiver by the trigger guard but wasn't sure about SBSs. Any advice would be appreciated.

Mine has the makers info engraved on the barrel, IIRC. If I get time I'll drag it out and look.
ETA: Yup. The trust and location are engraved on the left side of the barrel, right below '12 gauge cylinder bore'. Done in small (1/16"?) letters and re-blued, it's practically un-noticeable.

I'm not saying this is the best location, but I like it, it's still visible under the side saddle and you just have to turn the shotgun over to see it under there. Attached File

Which would only matter if you’re swapping to a different short barrel.
