I am SBR'ing my Ruger Charger with 10 inch barrel.  Looking for recommendations on a folding stock.  I like the looks of the AGP but have concerns with the fore end as it appears they mainly make them for the takedown which I do not have.  Are there any recommendations?  Pics?
Thanks.

I went with a wood stock that I cut down. A regular AGP will work if you cut some off the end.

I am waiting on a stamp now for a Charger. I am going to go with a Butler Creek. The plan is to reprofile the stock and make it little more to my liking. I am going to grind off the finger groves, inset a rail or 2 and mold in a hand stop on the cut down forearm. For all the stuff out there to put on a 10/22 folding stocks are kind of the weak point. I would really like to see Ruger put out a Mini-14 style wood and metal side folder specifically fitted to a charger size package.

I'm waiting  on a stamp for a TD Charger right now and I'm going with the AGP stock.

Not to derail but what are you looking at for an optic? I can't decide.

I really wanted a folding stock for my 10/22 SBR, but I just could not find one that looked comfortable and/or durable.  I went with this: http://www.pmacamfg.com/collections/stock-adapters/products/pmaca-10-22-chassis-ultra-light-black-anodize

Maybe one of these rather than a folder?

blackhawk collapsible is the best I have found for under $100...  folder would be better, but selection isn't great or adaptable to SBR.

I SBR'd a 10/22 back in the early 2000s. At the time you had the choice of Butler Creek (which I never liked the looks of) or Ramline. I went with the latter.

More recently I've been playing with a modified factory wood stock.

I am thinking the primary arms red dot but might go cheaper. Haven't completely decided just yet.

I've been considering doing one of the under folders and just trimming the excess off.

I'm  waiting for my receiver to come back from engraving, but I got a blemished AGP folder, and spray painted it OD green....cut the barrel back to 4.5 so I can add the Warlock and make it a pocket rifle.
I looked for weeks at just about every pic on the net of SBR Ruger 10/22's and couldn't really find a look that I liked better than the AGP, I'm just worried it a little too short in the Hand grip area.....

a close second was the all aluminum Pmaca chassis shown above but at $ 104 ...It made me really think do I want a unique looking 10/22 or something else that looks like a AR ??

Pics as soon as I get it assembled

May I ask how you obtained the stamp with all the WA silliness that happened? I have a couple more I'd like to get done and if there is a way without waiting to see how things shake out this session I'm all ears.

Very cool. I like the base axiom stock but that definitely opens up possibilities.

My advice is to measure it out, and then use masking tape to get your lines square, and go slowly either with a hacksaw, or fine-toothed kerf saw.

Then dry fit the hinge, mark your screw holes for centers, and carefully drill out two holes for deep nuts/coupling nuts like these: https://www.fastenal.com/products/details/0170895

Can't remember the depth of the coupling nuts I used, but grinding down the ends so they don't interfere with the rear of the receiver would be pretty easy if they're too long.

I set up mine to fold on the right, since I figured if I ever slung it, I'd not want the bolt charging handle to dig into my back anyway.

(edit) Sorry, forgot the rest of the build details:

Kidd Engineering 6" stainless barrel.
Kidd Engineering bolt buffer pin.
Kidd Engineering quick release bolt lock.
Kidd Engineering guide rod and spring.
Tactical Solutions long mag-release lever.
Ruger BX trigger pack.
Gemtech Outback II, sealed, not the "D" for Disassemble, but I got it at a good price from a FFL/SOT friend who had a customer bail on it. I'm sending it in to Gemtech for the $25 jailbreak/monocore upgrade though.
Original Charger knockoff Harris bipod.
Stormwerkz push button hinge assembly.
Ace AR buffer tube adapter.
PSA milspec 6 position buffer tube.
MFT Battlelink Minimalist stock.
The Bushnell Trophy red/green dot does the job, but I'm going to upgrade that sooner or later to an Aimpoint T1 style, or mini reflex sight of some kind.

I believe you left off a zero from the IOU program price!  I wish it was only $25, it certainly wasn't when I did it!

Glad I found this thread.
I went with a MIST TD (all that was available for under $500), and am interested in folding stocks.  Any more options in folders out there?
