Mark it off then use a bandsaw to cut it. Recontour with sandpaper then paint if needed or desired. I make chassis/ stock adjustments all the time using a bandsaw to shorten the LOP.

Sounds like he's gonna cut the front.
Depending on the construction of the stock that may or may not be possible. |

I wouldn't take that job. The work would be worth more than the stock.

And the skin is thin, all though I've only chipped one. H-S's staff seemed to know less about the product than I do. They couldn't wrap the head around Cutting in a NM Match Rifle rail. |
