Has anybody tried the Skeeter Skelton 44 SPL load of 7.5 grs of Unique and a  250 grn LSWC?

No but I have been using 7.5 grains with a 240 SWC for 30 years.

Many, many, many of them. The SWC's I now cast weigh 258-260 grs. It's an accurate hunting load that will easily pass through a deer broadside at handgun ranges (50 yds. or less).

Excellent choice! I cast two; one from an NOE 429421 mould and the other from an RCBS 44-250 KT mould.

Here's a similar if not identical one,and another.

I have seen that website. I have never ordered or know anyone who has ordered from him.

Is he GTG?

A bit off topic but......
I used to shoot 205 gr. bullets cast from a Lyman 42798 mold. When cast from wheel weights the .429 sizer die barely touched them. They were designed for the .44-40 but worked very well in .44 Mag with light loads.I used a light charge of 700-X  for about 850 fps......very accurate and mild recoil.
