I use 2.0 pounds pins, 3.5+ pounds of brass, enough water to cover. 5-10 mls (I use a kids liquid med syringe from walmart pharmacy, also at pet stores, Tractor Supply, etc... ease of use, consistent) of Dawn, level .380 case of Lemishine (I have very hard water).
How long depends on how dirty the brass is and how clean I want them. Usually 3-4 hours and they look brand new. Very easy to see cracked cases, wear, powder in case, etc when reloading. |

5lb pins to 3lb brass More pins than brass worked better for me and cut down run time.
If you size and prep and then wet clean expect case mouths tight from peening and noticable during bullet seating. One reason for dry cobb-walnut cleaning after sizing. Just faster and easier as well after the initial wet cleaning. 2 tbl spoons dawn 1 tbl spoon lemi shine Home made 6 in drum. 1.5 gallon 1.5 hr -2hr run time |
