Its good brass.....its the Blazer Aluminum thats no good for reloading.

The 9mm reloads just like any other. The large primer .45 does as well.
I will say that the Blazer is almost always the cleanest looking brass in the tumbler. Most brass (Black Hills, Winchester, Remington) can take 2-3 hours to get clean. Blazer is spotless within 30-45 minutes. Must be something in their mix that doesn't allow deposits to adhere as well. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

The 9mm is good brass, no issues. I am not familair with the .40.

Reloaded a bunch of it in .45ACP. It was mostly good. A few of the cases had what appears to be small primer pockets instead of large ones.

Seems as though Blazer Brass .45 were large primer for awhile (I bought one or two boxes in college with large primers), but then they switched. Now I inspect every case for damage AND primer size. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile I think the primer size change has to do with a "LEAD FREE" or lower lead round. Winchester does it too. So any .45acp from a range you pick up, always check that primer size. |

With thousands of rounds of .40 loaded into Blazer Brass cases I can say, with 99.995% certainty that Blazer Brass is gtg :)
